We met our freshman year at Coastal Carolina University, our dorm rooms in Eaglin Hall were across the hall from each other. The rest is history!

We were visiting Jason's family in Chapin, SC for Thanksgiving. Kasey's parents and brother Kyle came out to celebrate the holiday. On Thanksgiving Jason asked Kasey to go on a walk to the neighborhood boat dock (he wanted pretty scenery - he could have proposed in a dumpster and Kasey still would have said YES). A family was having boat issues and taking up the whole dock so after 20 minutes of sitting in the heat we decided it was time to go home. Jason couldn’t wait any longer and got down on one knee outside his parent's house. It was very special to go inside and celebrate with Jason's parents, brother, Joseph, and one of sisters, Jessalyn along with Kasey's family. We immediately called Jason's other sister Jamie and Kasey's sister Kayla since they were not able to celebrate in person. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
