FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kasey Jahnke and Cade Chapman
Question

When will I recieve an invitation?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out in March 2026.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP as soon as you can so we can give a final count to our vendors. The deadline to RSVP is May 10th, 2026!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are plenty of lodging options in the area. However, we have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Lakewood under Jahnke/Chapman Wedding. Be sure to book your room before 5/6/26 to qualify for the discounted rate. More information can be found on the "Travel" page.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal- polished and elegant but not overly formal. Aim for something refined thats comfortable for celebrating! For women, think midi or maxi dresses, avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream to allow the bride to shine in her dress. For men, suits or dress shirts and ties optional.

Question

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 4 o'clock in the evening, so please arrive no later than 3:45 or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your invitation are invited. If your invitation says "+1" or includes a guest's name, then please bring them along!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception indoors.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like (as long as you send them to us)!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We'll miss you! Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What's the best gift to get you?

Answer

Your presence is truly a gift in itself. But, if you'd like to contribute to our next chapter, please click the "Registry" tab at the top of the website for some ideas!
