Welcome, family and friends!

The love story began under the “electric sky” at 2019’s Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Orlando, FL. They were just a couple of kids with their friends that were into EDM (Electric Dance Music) and were just looking to enjoy the vibes of a totally awesome music festival for the weekend. Little did they know that they would end up completely ditching their friends (sorry guys) and spend the entire night together after meeting amidst a very large crowd by chance. They followed each other around from one DJ set to the next for the remainder of the evening. The night was unforgettable, and as cliché as it may sound, it was definitely love at first sight. The moment they had to go their separate ways after that last DJ set, they knew it wouldn’t be the last time that they would see each other. From that point on, their love story grew in pages… a story they’re still adding pages to, of course!

The day Adrian asked Kasey to be his girlfriend was another night to remember. Being that they were into EDM, it was only right to wait for a night when they went to see an individual DJ set from one of their favorites, Slander. It took place on a chilly January night at House of Blues, Orlando. Adrian continued to visit Kasey in Orlando from his family home in Plant City every weekend since the night they had met. They were completely inseparable and are to this day in fact. You see, Kasey attended the University of Central Florida and had an apartment in Orlando already with a couple of her roommates. It just worked out that way. After enjoying a few hours of dubstep and head banging, Adrian and Kasey walked the rest of Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs) and found themselves back at Kasey’s apartment to end the night. It was past midnight already and the day had changed from the 11th to the 12th. Adrian had asked Kasey if she would be his girlfriend shortly after getting back that night. I think you know what her response was.

3 and a half years, one promise ring, one apartment together, and one pet cat later… Kasey and Adrian found themselves on the way to Rothbury, Michigan. There, they would find Electric Forest, a music festival Kasey had only dreamed of attending since before she met Adrian. As luck would have it, Adrian was an experienced Electric Forest goer, as he had gone twice already. The beautiful scenery, the lights, the colors, all the wonderful music… it couldn’t have been a better destination. Day 2 of the festival came around and Adrian had wanted to pick a place at the festival that felt “just right” in order to propose to Kasey. The place chosen was a cute, cozy corner known as “The Nest.” What looked like a giant bird’s nest filled with people from all over the world, also had a beautiful fountain at it’s center with flowers and a serene statue. Adrian had played it off to Kasey that he wanted to find a spot to take a picture of themselves to document the moment. He had asked a random fellow festival goer to take a picture, only to Kasey’s surprise… it was a video she took. Adrian walked up to Kasey and told her to switch sides to get his “better angle.” As they switched, Kasey turned back around to find Adrian bent down on one knee with a beautiful engagement ring. Kasey was in total shock to the point where she couldn’t even cry. It was an instant yes with a long embrace and multiple kisses that followed shortly after. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The world of EDM and music festivals brought us together. From day 1, it had been our safe haven… our pinnacle of love.
