House Or Rental

Airbnb / VRBO

NY

Airbnb (or similar) is another good option - you can find something in Long Island City or elsewhere in NYC, depending on what else you might want to do during your visit. LIC is easy to get to from most parts of Manhattan, neighborhoods in Queens along the 7 or N/W trains, and neighborhoods in Brooklyn along the G line. It's still doable, but expect longer travel times if you're commuting from deeper in Brooklyn or far uptown in Manhattan.

Flight

LGA or JFK

We recommend flying into either LaGuardia or JFK. From either airport, you can catch a cab or take public transit to get to Long Island City (or wherever you decide to stay).

Train

Moynihan Train Hall

Amtrak is a great option - you can easily transfer to public transit from Moynihan Train Hall. The E train at Penn Station will bring you right to LIC.

Travel Note

Car travel

If you plan to drive, you will either need to pay for parking during the course of your visit or secure street parking. If you would like to explore New York during your stay, plan to use public transit or ride share.
