We met during our Sophomore/Junior year at Middle Tennessee State University while pursuing the same degree. It was a bit of luck and a bit of fate, as Lance had started a year earlier than Kasey in a different major, but he ended up changing majors after some time. Kasey started late for in-state tuition, putting us on nearly the same timeline. By chance, we shared one class, and for some reason, we both noticed each other on day one. On the second day of class, there was a seat open next to Lance, and Kasey stole it. The rest is history! Lance is from Manchester, TN, and has lived in the area for most of his life. Kasey is originally from Jackson, MI, though she's moved quite a few times up until now. As of December 2021, we will also officially be homeowners in Shelbyville, TN! Juggling the purchase of our first home and planning a wedding has definitely been a challenge, but that's what makes it fun!

We decided to start dating! We almost missed out on each other, too, since the semester was about to end the week after.

On our two year anniversary, we were officially engaged!

Due to the pandemic, and the fact that overseas friends would not be able to attend our wedding, we decided to postpone until 2022.

We have been living together for quite some time, and we knew we had a relationship to last when the pandemic hit. We spent every day together, and we're still just as disgusting together as we were on our first date. Now we just need to have a big party to make it all official and legal-like. We hope you'll join us for the big day! Though our wedding will take place on the 23rd, we ask you all to hold our official date of the 24th in your heart as our true date. We will not be signing our marriage license until this day to hold on to our most precious anniversary!
