Joe and Taylor’s love story first began in 2017 when they both swiped right on Bumble. After connecting over a mutual love of brunch and cooking they decided to meet for beers. Taylor actually canceled their first date, due to her mom being snowed in during a visit to Missoula. On their rescheduled first date they did an iconic tour of Missoula staples, starting with beers at Draught Works Brewery, then dinner at James Bar (picked Missoula’s best first date spot) and ending at Charlie B’s (a Forest Service dive bar). After that, Joe began showing Taylor all the Missoula area had to offer, from fly fishing, to hot springs, to best brunch spots in between his travel for work and her grad school schedule. Once she finished grad school they adopted Scooby, their four legged creature. After a failed attempt at moving to Seattle, they settled back in Missoula, a place that has stolen both their hearts. Six years later after many laughs, lots of good food, and numerous adventures, Joe proposed to Taylor in their kitchen while cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We are looking forward to starting this next adventure and can’t wait to celebrate its beginning with all of our friends and family!
