Yes, there is a dress code for the ceremony. This is a black-tie optional event, so suits with ties or tuxes for the men are expected, and ladies can wear floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, a formal jumpsuit, or a formal skirt and top. Information on colors can be found under the schedule section. Also, please note that the weather in Maryland in July is usually hot and humid. The majority of the wedding will take place inside; however, we recommend lighter fabrics if possible for comfort.
