Three months before we found each other, life looked very different. What started as a swipe led to casual back-and-forth quickly became long talks, inside jokes, and the kind of comfort that feels rare. We found ourselves staying up later than we should, sharing stories we hadn’t shared with many people, and slowly realizing this felt different. There wasn’t one big dramatic moment just a quiet, steady knowing. Our first date was in October, and now, here we are getting married in October. What started in a season of grief turned into a season of love. The same month that held our first date now holds our “I do.” We didn’t meet in the same room. We met in the middle of a hard season, and somehow, we met exactly when we were supposed to. The rest has been our favorite chapter yet and we can’t wait for the next one.
