Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO)

Our wedding venue is located in Esterillos Este, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. It is 18 km (12 miles) South of Jaco Beach on the Main Coastal Highway (Hwy 34). This is approximately 2 hours-2.5 hours from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).

Rental Car

Enterprise, AVIS, Alamo, etc.

If you are a confident driver, we strongly recommend booking a rental car. This will allow you to navigate and explore Costa Rica with flexibility. The drive from either airport will consist of some hilly terrain but as long as you give yourself plenty of daylight it is manageable. The Costa Rican sunset happens around 6:00pm so be sure to arrive in the morning or early afternoon to give yourself time to travel.

If driving a rental isn't for you, booking a shuttle is a great choice. Shuttles to and from the wedding venue will be available from Jaco, Hermosa Beach, Esterillos, and Bejuco Beach. More detailed schedules and pickup locations will be provided closer to the wedding date.
