Koty worked for a security company and I worked for the retail store that contracted that company. I went out to give him a break after scoping him out for a few weeks but never actually spoke because we worked different schedules. I wanted to have some sort of conversation with him but I really wasn't sure how to approach him. What was my opening line to get this man to fall in love with me you ask? It was "Do you want some M&Ms? They are kind of warm, they have been in my apron pocket all day." I immediately regretted it when he denied my offer. Trying to change the subject, I then invited him to go hang out at a bar with my friends not knowing he hated the bar scene and also knew none of my friends or myself really. Something must have changed his mind about me in that moment though because he agreed and as I walked away he reminded me he had no way to contact me. I first gave him my snapchat only to realize later it wasn't right but luckily I also gave him my number just in case. He texted me that night to not only tell me it was not right but to actually have a conversation that never really seemed to end after that. So I'm still not sure how I did it but I'm so glad I did because 3 months later we were dating and the following year we were ENGAGED! Now we are on a new journey of working towards becoming husband and wife and we could not be more thrilled!!
