What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

Coastal Desert- Think lightweight breathable fabrics and lean into muted desert tones. Warm terra cotta, soft clay, sand, subtle citrus hues and hints of cerulean blue. -Message Jaime for a visual!

Will I go through customs?

Answer

Yes, you'll go through customs upon arrival in Mexico.

Can I bring food into Mexico?

Answer

Yes- you can travel with food. NOTE- When you go through customs, you cannot bring fresh fruits, vegetables, meats or dairy. Packaged, seal snacks are allowed.

Do I need a rental car

Answer

We are anticipating guests wanting to relax at the villa for most of the trip. However, if you wish to rent a car, feel free to do so. You will also have the option to rent a scooter or ATV, which will be sorted out upon your arrival at the villa.

Are the villas close to the beach?

YES! Both our villas are side by side and beachfront.

Is there food at the villa?

Yes, food and coffee will be provided each day. We will be making a group run to the market for provisions. Please inform Jaime of any dietary restrictions or allergies.

I definitely recommend downloading whatsapp before arriving in Mexico. It will be our main source of communication

What will the week look like?

Answer

Think of this week as a mix of adventure and downtime. Our villas are beachfront, with a pool, plenty of lounge space, and fun extras like ping-pong and pickleball courts. Throughout the week we'll organize a few optional activities. But there's absolutely no pressure- you can spend your days relaxing by the pool or exploring what Puerto Escondido has to offer. This is your vacation as much as it is our wedding week.

What should I pack?

Answer

May will be HOT. Leave your jeans, sweatshirts and closed shoes at home. We recommend packing the following items -Bathing suit & Long sleeve sun shirt -Sandals & Sneakers (for pickle ball or exercise) -Sunglasses & a hat -Sunblock (can also purchase upon arrival) -Dresses & Shorts -Casual Lightweight breathable clothing -Exercise clothes, if you'd like to participate in activities

Do you have recommendations for Puerto Escondido?

Answer

YES. If you decide to explore the area, we recommend La Punta for shopping and food. Favorite Spots: Cafe Amarisa- coffee and breakfast Cafe Malagua- coffee and breakfast (try the croissants!) Chicama- Lunch or dinner. It may not look like much but has the best food! Fish Shack- Best fish tacos Sommo- Great sushi even better vibes! Try one of their cocktails and enjoy their DJ Spirulina- located Playa Zicatela. Delicious healthy lunch options. Large portions, we recommend sharing Beaches La Punta- Beautiful beach, great to learn to surf Playa Zicatela- Very big waves. Great to watch surfers Playa Coral- beautiful beach for swimming. Less busy. You can access the beach through a hotel. They'll charge you about $2 USD Playa Carrizillio- great for swimming and snorkeling
