Travel Note

Getting to & from EDI Airport

There are several transportation options available to travel from Edinburgh Airport to the city. Taxis and Ubers are readily available at the airport and offer a flexible and direct option, taking around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. However, during summer months, we highly recommend booking a taxi or car service in advance to avoid long waits at the airport. Another excellent option is the Airlink Express bus, which departs every 10 minutes and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the city center. The tram is also a convenient choice, running every 7-10 minutes and taking around 35 minutes to reach the city center. However, it's essential to note that bus and tram stops in the city may not be close to your hotel or rental accommodations.
