Question
What is the dress code?
Answer
Fancy- but fun! Celebrate this memorable occasion by putting on the ritz and wearing something that makes you feel elevated, stylish, and ready to party. (Go ahead, be a little extra!) Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at the hotel, but November in San Francisco can definitely be cold, so plan accordingly! Pearls are a core theme of the event, so we encourage wearing pearl accents or accessories if the feeling moves you.

Will there be on-site parking?
Answer
Parking at the Mark Hopkins is EXTREMELY LIMITED. We encourage all those attending to find parking in a secure lot (SpotHero is great for reserving a space in advance!) and taking a taxi or rideshare to the hotel if needed.

Is it okay to bring food or beverages?
Answer
Due to our exclusive catering contract with the venue, we ask that no outside food or drink be brought to the event. Late afternoon lunch will be served with premium drinks available at the open bar. (This policy does not include infant formula or medically prescribed supplements and other dietary needs.)

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
Our family and friends coming together in celebration is a big enough gift! That being said, we would be extremely appreciative of a donation of any amount to our honeymoon fund- please see the Registry tab on how to gift us directly.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Absolutely! Please make sure to note how many guests you will be bringing with you in your RSVP at least four weeks in advance to the event so that we can accommodate.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! Everyone of all ages is welcome to celebrate.
Question
Is the hotel going to be offering room blocks or specials?
Answer
We would need to have at least ten interested parties in order to facilitate a room block. Otherwise, the Mark Hopkins can offer individual guests special room rates for the event- see the Travel tab for more info.
Question
Is there anything the hotel prohibits?
Answer
As per our contract with the venue, we ask our guests to refrain from: ~smoking or vaping on the hotel premises or near entryways ~hanging decor or signage on the walls ~using smoke/fog machines ~using sparklers or other kind of combustible devices ~throwing or spreading confetti, glitter, rice, or any similar material (We don't mean to be a drag, we just don't want to get fined!)
