We're getting married!

Karsen and Grayson met back in junior high. If you ask Grayson, he'll tell you they met in 6th grade... but if you ask Karsen, she'll say they met in 8th grade. After having crushes on each other for years, Karsen asked Grayson to homecoming as her "friend". He said yes and soon after he asked her out on a date. On Oct 27th, 2018, they became girlfriend and boyfriend. After graduating high school in 2019, Karsen started at Texas State University and Grayson started at Houston Community College. Long distance was tough for them and took some time and lots of tears (from Karsen) to adjust and be okay with a couple years of being apart. In Fall of 2021, Grayson transferred to Texas A&M and they continued the 2.5 hour commute to see each other almost every other weekend. Karsen graduated from Texas State in spring of 2023 and Grayson transferred to Texas Tech in Lubbock. The transition to 7.5 hours apart was tough at first but Grayson began thriving at Tech and it made the distance easier to endure. On NYE 2023, Grayson proposed to Karsen at his family’s ranch in Pampa, Texas. Now here they are, prepping and planning to celebrate finally getting to be together in the same city and starting a life together. They can see God’s hand on their past few years of dating and know that all the ups and downs, all the tears and distance has made their hearts truly grow fonder and makes this day even more exciting.
