We love going on walks around our city. One of our favorite dates is going to James Coffee (we like to call it Lil' James) before strolling through Balboa Park. Raphael told me he "liked me" on one of our first dates at Panama 66, a restaurant in the park. This place holds so many special memories!
One of our go-to spots for date night! They have incredible Napolitano pizza & affogato (espresso over vanilla ice cream) made the Italian way!
If draft & craft cocktails are your thing, check out Polite Provisions–a personal favorite of ours. Get some food from Soda & Swine next door (we recommend the grain slider and the cheese fries) and order a brief encounter or a layover in paris from PP :)
We love our city's main library! Pro tip, there is a cute art gallery on the top floor, along with Raphael's favorite: the rare books room. Bring your love of architecture with you!! On your way out, get a coffee from Bean Bar right across the street. They are (to our knowledge), the only coffee shop in San Diego that has a siphon-made coffee on their menu!
Go to the cove, see some seals. If seals aren't your thing, the south side of the cove has some amazing views and walks! On your way, check out Bobboi Natural Gelato in the village. They're a favorite!
Best drive in San Diego! Take the sunrise highway at any time of day and enjoy how wonderful our climate is. Stop in Julian for coffee at "Regular's Wanted" right by the gas station. Hop on over to the Miner's Diner for a buffalo burger and a milkshake. Ride with the top down, or at least with the windows down!
Tacos. the end.
If you're a vegan, or if you just hate regular sushi like Karris does, go to Sipz! they have such a great menu. Our favorite is the green curry, the bao buns, and the Philadelphia rolls!
