Karrington and Taylor’s story began on April 17, 2022, in a place that would soon become the foundation of their relationship—church. After a few missed moments and more than a few failed attempts by Karrington to spark a conversation, he finally gathered the courage to approach Taylor. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into meaningful conversations, laughter, and a genuine connection that neither of them expected—but both immediately felt. At the time, Taylor was freshly graduated and standing at the edge of a major life transition. In a bold leap of faith, she uprooted her life from North Carolina and moved to Bakersfield, California—just as she and Karrington were getting to know one another. What could have been uncertain instead became the beginning of something deeply intentional, as God aligned their paths in ways only He could. As time passed, that connection continued to deepen, and on July 31, 2022, they officially became a couple. From that moment forward, life became a journey they chose to walk together—hand in hand, step by step. Over the years, they shared countless milestones: graduating college, stepping into new careers, and growing stronger in their faith and ministry. Along the way, they discovered the joy of doing life side by side—traveling to new places, cooking meals together, and creating a world that felt like home simply by being together. On December 23, 2025, Karrington asked the most important question of his life—and Taylor said yes. Now, with grateful hearts and excited spirits, they look ahead to their next chapter as they prepare to say “I do” on August 8, 2026, surrounded by the love, faith, and community that has supported them every step of the way.
