Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, the venue is a mile from AC Marriott. If you require transportation, we recommend scheduling a ride ahead of time. The Send-Off will take place at 10:45 pm. If you require parking, the venue offers free parking: https://www.merrimonwynne.com/parking-directions

Is it outside?

Answer

Weather Permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. The Cocktail Hour (Main House) and Reception (Carriage House) will be indoors and on the same property. The outdoor space is still accessible to enjoy throughout the night.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask to be seated no later than 5:25 so the ceremony can begin promptly at 5:30. No late entries.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking for our event in the parking lot across the street. N.C. State Ethic Commission Office (424 N Blount St) Please have your vehicle picked up by 10 am the next morning if you leave it overnight.

Is there a dress code? What about the other events?

Answer

The Wedding is cocktail. The Welcome and After Party events are at higher trafficked outdoor bars, so casual and airy clothes (what you would normally wear on the weekends) is recommended.
