Flight
For guests flying in, we recommend Newark or Laguardia as they are relatively the same distance to our hotel block & venue. JFK also works but is a bit farther. If flying into Newark it is 30 miles from Park Ridge Marriott (hotel)/ 33 miles from River Vale (venue). Laguardia is 30 miles from Park Ridge Marriott (hotel)/ 30 miles from River Vale (venue). Both are around 40-45 minutes by car.
Travel Note
We recommend either taking an Uber/Lyft from the airport or from NYC’s Penn Station, you can take a NJ commuter train on the Pascack Valley Line to the Montvale or Park Ridge station, then hop in a short Uber to Park Ridge Marriott. More info on the train option below.
Travel Note
For anyone preferring to take a train / or any NYC guests taking public transit, here’s all the info you need: The easiest way is to take an NJ Transit train from New York Penn Station on the Pascack Valley Line. This line stops at both Montvale and Park Ridge stations, each about 5–10 minutes by Uber/taxi from the Park Ridge Marriott. The train ride is about 55 minutes and costs around $12 one way. Please note: service is about once per hour and more limited on weekends, so be sure to check the NJ Transit schedule in advance. If landing in Newark: After you land, follow the signs for the AirTrain inside the airport. Take the AirTrain to Newark Liberty Airport Train Station, then hop on an NJ Transit train into New York Penn Station (about 30 minutes, ~$15). From Penn Station, transfer to the Pascack Valley Line toward Spring Valley and ride to Park Ridge or Montvale. From there, it’s a short Uber/taxi to the Marriott. If landing in LaGuardia: The Q70 LaGuardia Link bus goes straight to the subway at Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Ave (this bus is free and right outside every terminal). From there, it’s one subway ride (E, F, M, R) into Midtown Manhattan, where you can connect to New York Penn Station. From Penn, take the Pascack Valley Line toward Park Ridge/Montvale.
