Hyatt House Chicago / West Loop-Fulton Market

$$ This is Where Matt and Karolina will be staying. It is very close to the wedding venue and short Uber ride to where the welcome party will be. We have a small block of rooms set up for this hotel and is a first come basis for that. We also recommend looking on bookings.com or another site that finds hotel pricing. To get the deal through the room block visit the link. The room block does require a 2-night stay (3rd and 4th of May). If you only want to stay one night you'll want to book through their regular website or a bookings website.

Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop, an IHG Hotel

$ This hotel might have more affordable rooms. It is close to the venue but I would recommend taking an Uber to get to and from the venue. We do not have a code or room block for this hotel. A complaint that came up on google reviews is noise from the highway and it's a bit dated interior - otherwise people seem to say nice things about cleanliness and staff.

$$$ In Fulton Market / West Loop (0.5 Miles from wedding venue) Upscale option. Good if you are looking to spend more for a swanky stay that is very close to the wedding venue. Not as easy for public transit but very Uber/Lyft friendly.

The "L" System

The "L" is a good way to get around town cheap. Every line goes into the Loop. The "L" uses a Ventra Card for paying fares. You can download an app on your phone and load it with funds, then scan it at the turnstile. https://www.transitchicago.com/schedules/ https://www.ventrachicago.com/ The Ashland Green Line Stop is about 4 blocks from the venue. The Green Line does not run great at night but could be a good cheap way to get to the wedding venue from the Loop. The Blue Line will get you to/from Logan Square and the Loop easily and runs frequently. If you are staying in the Loop and are coming to the welcome party - this would be a good way to get there. You might want to Ube home though.
