Although we love your children we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!
Please come however you see fit as long as you remember your warm clothes for out near the fire at night and that optional bathing suit ;o) Ladies: Take out that dress you never wore, it’s perfect! Sun dresses, skirts, pant suits, no heels as you might sink into the grass. So come like you were heading to a hot date or a little more casual in your comfy dress. (See below for alternative options if you aren’t girly!) Men and ladies: Tux and suit not required. Khakis, dress pants, polo, button up, tie (as you prefer).
YES! However, “COVID” itself is not invited. Vermont’s number of confirmed cases = 1,589 FOR THE STATE (as of 8/29/2020) and that’s very low compared to many other states. All of Windsor County, in which Bridgewater is a town, has had 78 cases total (as of 8/29/2020). This town is small and has a smaller population of residents than the number of young adults attending my hometowns high school. We are lucky we kept this wedding small. We have 50 invited guests, which is far less than the allowed numbers for gatherings in Vermont. The ceremony space is going to be outdoor on many acres for social distancing as you need. We have very few outside vendors joining us and the home is private space, not shared. You are essential and exclusive! We also do understand everyone has their own needs and concerns so please do not hesitate to reach out if you can not make it, have questions, or need some support. Stay healthy!
Predicted to be high 59 and low 39 on October 17th.
Yes! We are going to plan when COVID settles but if you wish to contribute to the newly weds then please feel welcome to @K-Shippee-21 on Venmo <3
