Our story began in March 2020, right in the middle of a world that had suddenly slowed down. We met online, and somehow, during a time of uncertainty, we found something that felt instantly familiar. From our very first conversations, there was an undeniable spark, a perfect match that quickly caught fire. We connected over our shared love of rock music, gaming, anime, and movies, and before we even realized it, we were seeing pieces of ourselves reflected in one another. Karol found herself in Javier, and Javier found himself in Karol, a connection that only grew stronger with every late-night chat and shared laugh. Because of COVID, our early days took patience. We waited nearly two months before meeting in person, but once we finally did, it was as if time rushed to make up for what we had missed. We spent every free moment together, which soon turned into moving in together and building a life side by side. Along the way, we celebrated many anniversaries, with one trip standing out above the rest, a getaway to the charming Texas town of Fredericksburg. It left such an imprint on our hearts that a year and a half later, we returned to that same place, where Javier proposed at our favorite winery. Now, six years after first meeting in March 2020, we’re coming full circle as we say “I do” in March 2026, grateful for every moment, every memory, and the perfect match that started it all.
