FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Nov. 1st, 2025

Question

What do I need to travel on a cruise?

Answer

To join us on our wedding cruise, all guests will need to bring proof of citizenship. You have two options: Valid U.S. Passport (Recommended but not required) – Must be valid for the duration of your trip. OR Original (or certified copy) of your U.S. Birth Certificate AND a valid government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license) ✅ Good to Know: Children under 16 only need a birth certificate (no photo ID required).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love all of the amazing children in our lives—and yours too! However, we’ve decided to keep our wedding ceremony and celebration an adults-only event. You’re more than welcome to bring your children along for the cruise, but during the wedding, we kindly ask that arrangements be made for them to be cared for—either by a family member or through the childcare services provided on board by Royal Caribbean. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us create the atmosphere we’ve envisioned for this special moment!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

👗 Ladies: Gowns or cocktail dresses in breezy fabrics—florals & color encouraged. Wedges > heels (we like drama-free decks). 👔 Gents: Linen suits, blazers, no flip-flops. Ties optional, swagger required.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered! You can find all the details under the Registry tab.

Question

Can we bring wedding gifts with us on the cruise?

Answer

If you're planning to bless us with a gift — whether from our registry or something specially picked by you — we kindly ask that you ship it to our home: 1002 Boulder Lake Terrace, Apt 5301, Richmond, VA 23225 Since we’ll be setting sail, space on board is super limited. Cards, love notes, and warm hugs are absolutely welcome on the ship though! 💌💙

Question

Are there any planned activities after the wedding celebration?

Answer

After we say “I do” and celebrate with all of you, there are no formal events planned for the rest of the cruise—just good vibes, ocean views, and plenty of time to relax, explore, and enjoy yourselves! We want you to have the best time making your own memories on the ship—whether that’s soaking up the sun, grabbing late-night snacks, or catching a show (or three). We’ll be around... but we’ll also be doing what newlyweds do best: disappearing for a little peace, quiet, and couple time. So if you don’t see us for a bit, no worries—we’re just enjoying the start of forever (and maybe hiding out at the spa or the soft-serve machine).
