We met at our friend Taylor's New Year's Eve Party in 2014. We went on our first date in February 2014. Eric took me to a restaurant called Acme in Carborro, NC. I was in charge of making the reservation and completely forgot to make them. So we decided to grab drinks at the bar until a table became ready. For a first date, making small talk at the bar with your date seems awkward, but our conversation was easy and effortless. Our chemistry was evident on that first date and the rest was history.

Eric and I were in Savannah on River Street. Eric asked a random woman to take a picture of us and as she was taking the picture he proposed. After the initial shock, I said "YES!!" to this question. Our reactions were captured perfectly. We celebrated our engagement at The Grove in Savannah.
