We met on a cold Sunday night in January. We were set up by Bob’s cousin on a double “blind” date. The four of us met at the Brown Room in Congress hall for a casual night of drinks & apps. Bob arrived first with his cousin and her husband. Karly arrived later, in the hopes of getting a sneak peek of Bob before going in. (We found out later how nervous both of us were before this date!) Needless to say, we hit it off. We stayed out late talking and making plans for our next date. We couldn’t wait to see each other again so we decided to go to Brunch the next morning! We have been inseparable ever since that night.

We got engaged at a family party celebrating Karly’s brother’s birthday. Both of our families were in attendance, which wasn’t out of the ordinary. Bob popped the question while everyone was enjoying their crabs and spaghetti. It was completely unexpected and very romantic. We were both extremely happy to have been able to share that moment with our families.
