FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is "Summer Formal." We’d love for our guests to dress in elegant summer evening wear. For women, knee-length to floor-length dresses are perfect. For men, a suit with a jacket is requested. Light, breathable fabrics are welcome to keep cool in the summer heat. The ceremony will be in grass, so it may be wise to wear thicker heels. We'd like to reserve white for the bride. I always want to know what the bridesmaids will be wearing so in case you are like me, bridesmaids will be wearing sage green.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax, celebrate, and dance with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest loved ones. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally addressed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is plenty of free self-parking at the venue. There is ample parking at the Sheraton Hotel with $15 per day cost in a garage across the street from the hotel.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors. August is hot and humid in New Jersey so plan accordingly and stay hydrated!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We would like everyone to arrive by 5:30 pm to ensure everyone is seated and ready to start promptly at 6:00 pm. We want to make sure we get the most out of our cocktail hour and open bar! There will be a bar available inside prior to the ceremony if you get to the venue early.
