We're getting hitched!

Karly and Sal met at a party in the summer of 2010 while both attending the University of California, Davis. They were scrubs at the time with Four Lokos in hand and wild spirits lashing out in all directions. After the initial meeting, the game was on as our group of friends collided and Sal pursued Karly. There were many weekends on the sloshball field, nights dancing around bonfires, and private moments where the seeds of love started to take root. Eight years later, that love has never stopped growing.

Florence was the midway point of a 10-day trip to Italy and the perfect time to pop the question. Sal put the plan in motion for the big moment to occur on November 23rd, 2018, the day before Thanksgiving. That day began with a memorable stroll through the Uffizi Gallery and endless bites to eat at the local market. Later that afternoon, Sal and Karly hopped into a cab to San Miniato al Monte, a church that overlooks the entire city of Florence. The slow climb up the long set of stairs was filled with butterflies and tingling sensations. The view was breathtaking and picturesque as Sal dropped down on one knee and tears began to flow.
