Important Notes & Considerations:

Answer

*Transportation: 30A is not very walkable in stretches. A car is highly recommended. Uber/Lyft are available but can be limited and expensive during peak season. Permits for Bonfires: Required and difficult to obtain – plan well in advance if desired. Check regulations on the South Walton County website. Parking: Parking can be challenging. Consider parking at a central location and biking or using a shuttle. Sun Protection: The sun is strong! Wear sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Weather: Check the forecast. Evenings can be cool, especially in the spring and fall. Wedding Schedule: Be mindful of the wedding schedule and any planned activities. Traffic: 30A can experience significant traffic, particularly during peak season. Allow extra time for travel. Respect the Environment: Keep beaches clean and be mindful of dune protection.
