It all started the night before our junior year of high school, August 2017, at a pool party at a friend's house. Little did we know, that night would change both our lives forever. Our first impressions of each other? Well, Karly thought Joey was a 30-year-old man who had somehow crashed a high school party. (Spoiler: he was only 17!) The very next day, we ended up in the same history class. At first, we became best friends -inseparable, always laughing, and always there for each other. Joey was the football player everyone at school knew and loved for his humor and kind personality, and Karly was the cheerleader who couldn't help but notice his insanely blue eyes. (Let's just say paying attention in class wasn't always easy). As time went on, our friendship slowly turned into something more. One of our favorite traditions was going to the fairgrounds every year. It was at the fair where we had our first "date" (If you know, you know), and it's a memory we still hold close to this day. We knew we were meant for each other because we just get each other- our humor, our quirks, and even those imperfect moments. Joey is Karly's rock, and Karly is Joey's biggest cheerleader, on and off the field. Through the years, we've been each other's best friend, and now, we're so excited to take on the rest of our lives together as husband and wife.
