Mr. & Mrs. Camacho

It all began a little before spring break of 2022. We started working on a few events for our friends and realized we enjoyed each other's company. A few days later, I asked Bree to study together twice in the same week. To our surprise, it was very easy and fun to be around each other. A few days later during spring break, we did even more things together along with a couple of friends. On Wednesday that week, after a day of studying with one of Bree's close friends, we drove back to school and met up on Southern's promenade to walk and talk. We started talking about how we were doing and the conversation quickky moved on to a question I had been holding in. I awkwardly asked Bree to be my date for an upcoming banquet and she agreed! But, I wasn't done yet... I told Bree that I really enjoyed being with her, loved who she was, and was genuinely interested in getting to know her better. To my surprise, she felt the same way! Fast forward several days... After seeking advice from others, much prayer, consultation, and thought, we decided that our hearts were fully committed to starting a relationship and that we could not put aside the feelings we had for one another. This is an extremely short version of our story, but the most important thing to note is that God has been at every step of the way opening door after door. Looking back, we cannot be any happier and more thankful that we listened to God and listened to our hearts!
