We’re Getting Married and You’re Invited!

On Oct. 7, 2022, they set off on an adventure that would change the nature of their relationship. They ventured to Cusco, Peru to experience the culture and sights the brilliant country had to offer. While there they hiked their dream and saw one of the wonders of the world: Machu Picchu. The night before summiting to their grand prize Dante asked Karlie about how the hike was going thus far and if she was ready for the finale. With sweet words of encouragement, they rested til 3:00 am the next morning while unbeknownst to Karlie, this morning would change her status. After climbing the last set of grueling Incan stairs, they achieved their bucket list dream, arriving at the glorious wonder. At about 8:17, he knelt and asked her hand in marriage. Stunned, but without hesitation she agreed to his proposal. They then continued the rest of their trip engaged and in love. Then the true test of kinship emerged with the creation of their little family of three dogs in their self-renovated house.
