We're getting married!

We were both told about each other before actually meeting each other. Through several attempts from Austin’s sister and brother-in-Law. But finally, after a handful of pushes and nudges, Austin mustered up the courage one day to message Karlie. The message that was sent: ‘Hey, pretty lady’. Cute. Simple. And effective. After a couple of days of texting back and forth, Austin decided to give Karlie a visit at her second job, bartending at the Valley View Golf Course in Sisseton. Although he couldn’t show up alone, that would be silly. He brought his best friend, Reid along. Before the night was over, Austin asked Karlie when he could see her next. From then on, they were inseparable. After 3 weeks of ‘seeing each other,’ Austin asked Karlie to be his girlfriend on February 10, 2023. The months and years passed by with many movie nights, bonfires, trips to the lake, camping, baseball, and T-ball games, shopping, snacking, and spending time with both Karlie and Austin’s immediate family. In the month of June 2024, Austin and Karlie brought Millie into their family. A medium goldendoodle, with just as much sass as a full-grown adult. From then on, they were a family of three. Millie went everywhere with them and was even there when Austin decided to ask Karlie to spend a lifetime with him on January 16th, 2025. And in March of 2026, Austin and Karlie welcomed a baby boy, Oliver Karstin Quale, into the world. Loving and enjoying every minute of being first-time parents to a beautiful, crazy boy.
