In 2016 we were both working at Under Armour in Albertville Minnesota. While it is hard to say exactly when we first met because Karlie was only working in the summers while still in school. I can definitely tell you when we first started talking because Adam had just become a manger and figured he should introduce himself to all the associates. Next time our paths crossed in the back room he said Hi Karlie and I responded Hey Wookie. Which was Adams Nickname, and most people thought it was his real name. As time went on our conversations got longer and our friendship grew. Eventually we started going out for drinks with a group of coworkers every week. It didn't take long for everyone to notice there was something starting to change. One night Adam asked if I wanted to go to Applebee's for another drink after we were done with, the group. We did not expect to close down the bar and talk in the parking lot until 3:00AM. That's when we knew this was something special from that night on. Our friendship continued to grow the more we got to know each other. On November 23rd, 2019, we decided to give it a real chance to be something special and we haven't looked back since.
