Why have a "wedding celebration"?

Answer

Our original plans for our wedding on 10.10.2020 did not go as planned because of Covid-19 regulations. Now, around our one-year anniversary, we are excited to finally celebrate with all of our special family and friends! We hope to get family photos and to do the traditional dances and toasts we didn't get to do on our original wedding day.

What should I wear?

Answer

Great question! Our wedding party will be dressed like they did on our big day with the women in long gowns and men in their suits because we want to get some special wedding photos. While you are welcome to dress up similarly, feel free to dress more casually. Think more like a polo shirt or button-up shirt with slacks for men and a simple sundress for women. Fall days can be chilly, so be sure to dress for the weather. We will be outside under a pavilion.

Where should I stay?

Answer

You can see the "Travel" page for a few of our suggestions on where to stay in town. However, there are many options beyond those listed there. We did not reserve a block of hotel rooms in any one hotel since we did not have many guests express plans to stay overnight. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Kids within our family are invited. Invitations including children were addressed with "and family". You can also double-check by RSVPing online since you will be asked to RSVP for all members of your party.
