Karli and Robert met during their sophomore year of high school, and what started as an unexpected friendship quickly became something more. After becoming best friends, they started dating their junior year, navigating all the fun, chaos, and questionable decisions that come with being teenagers. What began as a young relationship only grew stronger, turning them into true high school sweethearts. After high school graduation, Karli moved to Montana for nursing school, while Robert stayed in California to work full time and attend community college. The next four years were spent balancing long distance, busy schedules, frequent flights, and making the most of every visit together. Once they had both finished college, the two started their next chapter in Charleston, South Carolina — a place Robert had never even visited, but trusted Karli enough to call home. Over the last two years, they’ve fallen in love with southern living and balancing the simple everyday moments with big adventures, while supporting each other through demanding jobs and every new season of life. As much as they’ve loved their time in the South, they’re excited for their next chapter together in California. Looking back on every season that brought them here, Karli and Robert feel incredibly grateful for the life they’ve built together and can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day with the people they love most.
