In December 2019, our paths crossed online, a common way the youth’s connect these days. After a week of messaging, we decided to meet in person. We met at Block 15 Taproom, a venue Karli chose knowing Mason's love for craft beer. We spent hours there, talking and laughing as if we had known each other forever. By the time the taproom closed, we were already planning our next date, leading to many more. On January 9, 2020, we made our relationship official, marking the start of something truly special. By June 2021, Karli moved in with Mason and we expanded our family by adopting our beloved 75-pound lap dog, Mochi. On November 26, 2023, Mason, along with our close friends Taylor and Christina, took Karli to a Christmas tree farm. Christina and Taylor were there to capture candid moments of us cutting down the tree, which Karli assumed meant she would be doing the cutting. As Mason got down on one knee to start cutting the tree, he reached for a pair of gloves in his pocket but instead pulled out a ring. Karli was completely caught off guard and said yes! The look of happiness and surprise on her face was priceless, perfectly capturing our journey together. We are both excited for the future and the many adventures that lie ahead.
