We can't wait to celebrate with you!

It all started on Leap Day 2020 in Bismarck, North Dakota... A large group of friends gathered in the frigid cold to play a game of beer darts. Karli kept targeting Devon's Coors Lights cans on purpose. Devon immediately thought "Wow, who the heck keeps hitting my can?" As he looks up to see Karli dancing in excitement across the circle. Unfortunately COVID hit shortly after, and Karli had to return to home to Minnesota until school started again in the fall. Upon Karli's return to Bismarck, they then decided to take their competition to the golf course. Devon started to invite Karli over to watch Dodger baseball games with some friends. On October 22nd, 2020, Devon and Karli decided to go on their first date to their favorite local spot. Charra's and Tequila. About a month later, Devon made Karli's favorite dinner (Filet Mignon, asparagus and potatoes). On the night of November 20th, 2020, Devon asked Karli to be his girlfriend. They decided to take their first trip together for NYE in Nashville. On December 30th, 2020, Karli told Devon she loved him for the first time. Not knowing that Devon was planning on doing this first, later that evening. Fast forward through many trips to different states, spending holidays with family, and making memories with friends, things began to get serious...! Devon began his search for the perfect ring and plan to propose. Exactly one year from when they said "I Love You", 12/30/2021, Devon flew Karli's family to California for the big surprise. Later that afternoon, they headed down to Carlsbad Beach where the big question was asked. After she said "Yes!", she had no idea that both families were watching from afar. Then the tears started as Karli saw her parents walk down the beach towards them. Everyone then spent the weekend celebrating on a party bus through the Temecula wine country. Devon and Karli flew back to Bismarck to begin wedding planning. And the rest is history!
