Port Townsend, Wa is a seaport founded in the mid-1800's. This small town has a population of less than 10,000 and is the opening port to the Puget Sound. This town holds a very special place in Karli's heart as she grew up visiting her family in this town, staying with her grandparents, sailing with her uncle and cousin, and camping. Karli and Adam decided to have their wedding in Port Townsend because Karli's uncle owns a farm in Port Townsend which she and Adam have visited several times. We are both so excited to share this special place with our closest family and friends!
Travel to Port Townsend can be complicated, so we recommend flying to the Seattle/Tacoma airport, renting a car and taking one of two options noted above to arrive at Port Townsend. Option 1 requires taking the Seattle/Bainbridge Ferry, whereas Option 2 requires driving around the peninsula. Both options take ~2-3 hours additional travel from the airport. Good news is the travel is stunning the entire way!
