FAQs

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be at St. Stanislaus Church in Warsaw, which is approximately 5-7 minutes from the reception at the Minto Community Center. Navigate to the schedule tab on our website for the addresses to both!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45 pm at the latest so we can get everyone seated before the ceremony starts at 4:00 pm.

Question

What's the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is Grand Forks International Airport (GFK), which is about 25-30 minutes from our venue. However, flights may or may not be available during this time of year, so we recommend flying into Hector International Airport (FAR) in Fargo, ND, which is roughly an hour and 15 minutes from Grand Forks.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We respectfully ask that only guests named on the invitation attend. If your invitation includes “and guest,” you are welcome to bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Children are invited only if they are listed on the invitation or if it includes “and family.”

Question

Can gifts be shipped directly?

Answer

Yes! We understand many guests will be traveling, so gifts are welcome to be shipped directly to 15661 County Road 15, Minto, ND 58261 for convenience.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits for women, and a suit or dress shirt with slacks for men. Think dressy but comfortable—no jeans or overly casual attire, please.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the church and to allow everyone to be fully present, we kindly ask that guests do not take photos or videos during the ceremony. A professional photographer will be capturing the moment. Feel free to take photos and videos during the reception!

Question

Can I share photos from the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from sharing photos of the bride and groom on social media until we’ve had the chance to share our own. Thank you so much for understanding!
