And the Two... Shall Become One

It’s not often that someone accepts an at home tattoo. It’s also not often that, as a result someone finds their forever person. Yet somehow for Lewis and Karley that’s exactly what happened. And what, for most, would be an event full of awkward silences and counting down time, it wasn’t for them. Those hours together led to conversations, that led to a friendship, that led to so much more. Karley never would have thought that a polite offer for tattoo practice would lead to the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Lewis never thought that agreeing to be a tattoo canvas for a cute girl would lead to him finding his best friend. Lewis and Karley both knew early on that this was something they wanted to do together, and they were both in it for the long haul. The two of them couldn’t seem to stop finding things to talk about, and the hours turned to days and weeks of communication. Everywhere Karley went, there was Lewis. Even if she was doing something he knew nothing about, Lewis would be there ready to learn, just to spend time with Karley. Lewis jumped in with Karley’s niece and nephews immediately, and the kids quickly let everyone know “we like Lewis, we need to keep him”. From construction projects, to karaoke and line dancing, they did it all together. For those of you that know Lewis, not all of these are his strong suits, but he was willing to do it to make Karley happy. Lewis surprised Karley and proposed to her in their apartment on February 12th 2024. All the hours laughing, smiling and joking around, turned into both of them finding the loves of their lives. Lewis and Karley are looking forward to traveling, learning, and growing together forever, through everything that life throws at them.
