True love began on September 10, 2021, at the start of the bride’s Junior year at the University of Texas, just a few short months after the groom had graduated from A&M and moved to Austin for work. She had sworn off speaking to boys (not even for a free drink!) and partying until graduation, but after much convincing, she came out with me that night. The bride and I were at a bar called The Ranch. It was there I witnessed, for the first time in the history of our friendship, someone catch her eye. The mystery man was staring at her from across the room, and instead of acting aloof like she usually would, the bride gazed back at him with a similar, interested expression. She began erratically fixing her hair, and he began walking towards us. The bride eagerly accepted his offer for a drink and without hesitation, he led her away from the rest of the world. I watched as they spoke, each word punctuated by nervous laughter and flushed cheeks. In that moment I saw something extraordinary- a connection of undeniable chemistry weaving its magic between them. They talked the entire night... and they haven't stopped talking since. -Alexandra Spears (eye witness to love at first sight)
