Our story began when Karleigh moved to Fort Worth and decided to test out the new dating pool. Mykel just so happened to be her very first date in the city on October 7, 2022. We ended up talking for hours until the restaurant closed, and by the next day, we were already making plans to watch the Texas A&M vs. Alabama game together. Karleigh thought, “If he can handle me during Aggie football, this might actually go somewhere.” From that point on, everything just felt right. Late-night conversations, trips, adventures, and endless laughter made it clear to us both that this was something special. We are so grateful for the many ways the Lord has brought us together and continues to bless our journey. We can’t wait to celebrate this season of engagement and marriage with all of you!
