The largest international airport in Ireland with the most direct flights from U.S. cities. About a 1.5 to 2-hour drive to the Gloster House area.

Shannon Airport (SNN)
A smaller and very convenient airport for western Ireland. Seasonal direct flights from several U.S. cities. About a 1 to 1.5 hour drive to the Gloster House area.
Rental Car
Traveling from the Airport
Renting a car is the most flexible way to reach the Gloster House area and explore Ireland. Both Dublin and Shannon Airports have major rental agencies on-site. Please note that driving is on the left-hand side of the road in Ireland. Private car transfers and taxis can be booked in advance from both Dublin and Shannon airports. Public bus connections exist to the area, but they take longer and typically involve transfers.

Airbnb/VRBO
Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the venue for guests staying in Birr, Roscrea, and along the route directly between the two towns. These locations are closest to the venue (just 10–20 minutes away). Within this area, Airbnb and VRBO rentals are readily available. Click the "View" button below for a curated list of Airbnbs on the shuttle route at various price points.

Kinnitty Castle Hotel
We've secured a discounted room block here. Located about 25 mins from the venue. The shuttle service to and from our venue will be offered to those staying in this hotel. To book the room block: Call +353579137318 (open 7am to 11pm Irish time each day) and ask to book a room under the group "Karlee Walther" for the weekend of July 24th. Please note: There are a limited number of discounted rooms available, so we recommend booking asap. Once the room block is filled, feel free to reach out to us as we may be able to obtain additional discounted rooms. Otherwise, rooms can be booked at the hotel's standard rates on their website by clicking the "View" button below.

Giltraps Townhouse & Glamping
Right near the Kinnitty Castle Hotel (about 25 mins from the venue), but at a lower price point. No room block here, but rooms can be booked through the hotel website (click the "View" button below) or Booking.com. The shuttle will also be available for guests staying here.

Accommodations - Outside the Shuttle Route
There are hotels, resorts, and Airbnbs spanning a range of budgets and styles located within about one hour of Gloster House. However, guests staying outside the shuttle route will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue in advance, as taxis are not typically available on demand, and Ubers/Lyfts are not offered in the area.

Parking
On-site parking will be available at Gloster House for those who choose to drive. Cars can be left at Gloster House overnight and collected the next day. Uber/Lyft is not available in the area and taxi availability is limited. We kindly ask guests to plan their transportation safely and responsibly.
