Hi - Sarah here! Karl and I met at a college party in during our senior year of college and he added me on Twitter not long after. We stayed friends for a quite a while before making it official and soon after that, Karl joined the Air Force. We navigated through the 'suck' of long distance and found that love knows no distance or time. It was all worth it. After a few years, I left for Bali, Indonesia to travel, surf and develop my business and skills. I ended up thriving in the Bali sun and waves and lived there for 2 years. However, our long distance got LONGER in every sense of the word. But it was still so worth it. Karl finished his time in the Air Force, moved back to Michigan and shifted his sights to his talents and passions in the music industry. I moved home from Michigan and shifted my focus to building a new business. We enjoyed living in the same state (although still an hour apart) for a little over a year and a half. Definitely still worth it. On July 10th of 2020, Karl was preparing to move to Los Angeles to continue pursuing a career in music. He surprised me with a bouquet of white roses at what was supposed to be his goodbye party and turned it into an engagement party. He got on one knee, asked me to marry him and so I said........... yes! (duh) My family and his parents were there to celebrate the exciting news. Then Karl proceeded to move to California and I returned to Michigan after a few weeks in LA. Long distance for the last time? Absolutely worth it. We've had so many adventures together and many apart. Now we'll meet in Montana and end the long-distance, close the old chapters and start our next adventure.... TOGETHER! We are so grateful for every single one of you and hope that you can join us in Montana (or in Michigan) to celebrate the joining of families, the ending of distance and the joy and excitement we have for the future. Love, Sarah
