Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cumberland

We have a hotel block with this hotel. Click "View" below for the discounted group rate of 249 USD per night. All guests booked under the Geatz - Burkhart Wedding will have a non-refundable deposit of one night plus tax taken on April 26, 2023. This is an option in Downtown Cumberland (10 min drive to/from venue). There is a brewery called Dig Deep next door and a restaurant called Uncle Jack's a quick walk away, along with a handful of other restaurants and bars walking distance too. There is also the C&O canal tow path trail right there, which is perfect for biking/walking. We are hoping to have a shuttle to and from this venue but cannot confirm at this moment. Will update when we have a shuttle confirmed.

Rocky Gap Casino Resort

This is 10-15 minutes from where our ceremony is. They do have a shuttle that will take you to/from the wedding venue or to downtown Cumberland (10 mins away) for food/drinks. This is a beautiful resort surrounded by woods with trails for hiking, a lake where you can rent a boat or swim (if it's hot enough) and a golf course. (Unfortunately unable to get a discount/hotel block because its a holiday weekend.)
