Carpenter Nature Center
Carpenter Nature Center is open to the public from 8-4:30 daily. Feel free to explore and go for a walk on one of the trails! This is also where our wedding will be!
Little Log House Pioneer Village
This is a one of a kind historical show that is in town - only happens once a year. Karl would consider it a must for kids and adults alike.

A beatiful drive to an iconic supper club - not too far from our venue.

Stillwater
We have gone on many dates here. Our favorite restaraunt is LOLO and we always get the Brussel sprouts. Take scenic St Croix trail North from Hastings and in 30 minutes, you will be in downtown Stillwater.
Science Museum of Minnesota
If the weather is bad, this is an excellent indoor option. There is a cool omnitheatre here as well.
Lanesboro MN
Hannah and I love camping here. I have done long gravel bike rides down here as well. Very hilly! It is an absolute gem of a town with plentiful activities around. If you are in Minnesota for a bit longer, it would be an excellent place to visit. We also enjoy hiking the bluffs of Whitewater state park which is nearby.
