Our Ceremony Location! In the center of Tower Grove Park, the Piper Palm House is the oldest greenhouse west of the Mississippi. And the best part-- it's just a short stroll from our house! We're looking forward to walking thru the park and remembering our wedding day for years to come! There's plenty of street parking in the park, click on the link below for a map of Tower Grove Park.
Our Reception Location! The reception will be in the club room upstairs, but there is also a full bar and restaurant downstairs. Grab yourself a drink downstairs and make sure you're not late for the reception upstairs. (note-- there is a second Schlafly location in Maplewood, further away from downtown. We like that one too, but don't go there on our wedding night!)
Welcome Dessert Location! Make sure to go to the Central West End location. There's lots of metered parking in the area (meters stop charging at 7pm) and a few parking garages in walking distance too.
Our local coffee shop. Stop here before or after the ceremony, it's just across the park.
Beautiful Gardens next door to Tower Grove Park. A great spot for a walk between the ceremony and reception.
One of the best Zoos in the country, and it's free! If you've never been, do yourself a favor a go take a walk around.
Another true St. Louis attraction. They offer free tours hourly and give out free samples at the end. Plus you get to see the dalmatians and Clydesdales!
The brand new aquarium in St. Louis-- and it's a short walk from the hotel. You can see the Ferris wheel too! Just opened at the end of 2019, so we haven't had a chance to go yet. Let us know how it is!
Unlike any other museum, it's basically a big indoor playground for kids and adults!
Another St. Louis Classic-- if you don't mind eating frozen custard in February!
One of our favorite breweries in the city, with plenty of variety of beer and house made cocktails. Plus free skee-ball upstairs!
No doubt you'll see the Arch while you're in St. Louis, but going to the museum and up in the arch is always fun too!
Shameless plug for our favorite rescue group, and where we got Bunsen and Tonks. It's just across the street from the hotel, so don't be surprised if you see volunteers walking dogs! They run a thrift store, Second Chances, onsite as well, so stop by and look around, and feel good about helping the shelter dogs!
