Karl and I met May of 2016 at Eagle Lake. He was working at the infamous Lo Sto during the summer and also taking care of his family’s lake house. My two best friends, Haley and Brittany, both had a house there so we were spending every single weekend at Eagle Lake. One night, we went to Lo Sto to meet some friends and Haley introduced me to Karl. From that moment, Karl and I instantly hit it off and wanted to get to know each other. Karl was in his last year at Mississippi State and we would see each other when I would go for games. I soon started school there January of 2017 which was also his last semester. Conversations over snap chat and text message soon turned into hanging out everyday and that Valentine’s Day he asked me to be his girlfriend! He graduated that May and moved to Little Rock, AR for work and that began our 2 and a half years of long distance. Absence truly makes the heart grow fonder. He moved home the same time I did after I graduated from MSU and we began another new chapter. Our relationship has been full of adventure and I could not ask for anyone better to spend this life with!
