The dress code is cocktail/summer semi-formal. Ladies, a sundress or cocktail dress would be appropriate. Gentlemen, a suit without a tie or slacks with a tie, sans jacket, would be appropriate. Please no denim/jeans. The wedding colors are shades of blue and we would invite our guests to partake in wearing blue.
This will be a traditional Catholic wedding mass, with a 60-70 minute run time. The priest will explain most portions as we go. For those who are not Catholic, please feel free to skip communion or participate for a blessing. There will be three readings, multiple songs, a brief speech from the priest, communion, and the vows.
We recommend guests arrive 10-15 minutes prior to 2:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM and late arrivals will be asked to wait until after the bridal processional to take their seats.
While we recommend our guests who may partake in libations utilize Uber, Lyft or another ride-share/taxi company, for guests who chose to drive to the reception, there are approximately 20 parking spots in the lot directly adjacent to the venue. There is also a great amount of parking in the Downtown Overland Park area.
Invitations are addressed specifically to those listed on the printed invitation. Please no additional guests to this intimate affair.
Of course! Your children, as listed on the invitation, are included and we would love to have them join us. However, if you wish to have a adults-only evening, feel free to leave the kids at home!
Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour. Dinner will include a salad, beef and chicken entree, two starch choices, a vegetable, and dessert options. All dinner items, excluding the wedding cake, will be gluten free. Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP so our caterer can appropriately accommodate your needs.
Yes! Please enjoy responsibly!
Our ceremony will be unplugged, so please refrain from taking photos. Feel free to take photos at the reception, but please wait to post photos of the Bride and Groom, until the Bride and Groom have had the opportunity to share photos.
