Mad Chef Craft Brewing
We love going to Mad Chef and tasting their large selection of beers. Get a bucket of fries with some dipping sauces. You will not be disappointed. Our favorite dipping sauces are garlic-rosemary aioli and malt vinegar aioli.
Lancaster Central Market
Market is only open on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Mostly we love people watching here from the 2nd level. It goes well with a coffee from Mean Cup and a breakfast sandwich from Kom Essa. Other favorites are Callaloo and empanadas from Havana Juice.
College Treats
This place doesn't look like much but they have the best ice cream. The older couple that runs it are adorable. Our go to flavors are Chocolate peanut butter swirl and Cookie Dough.
Horse Inn
Horse Inn makes some of the best cocktails and has an awesome vibe. Be careful because there can be a wait. It might be smart to call ahead and make a reservation.
Field of Screams
Since it will be that time of year and if you're into jump scares, Field of Screams was once rated the #1 Best Haunted Attraction in the nation.
Noel Dorwart Park
This is real close park to Lancaster if you are in need of a quick hit of nature. It also has a trail that goes into Brubaker Park and pops out to Wegman's. Wegman's has an awesome selection of beers if you get thirsty from your walk :)
Lancaster Sweet Shoppe
Get the brownie sunday with the brownie heated up. Do it.
Himalayan Curry & Grill
This is our favorite spot for Nepalese and Indian cuisine. It is a real cozy spot that is BYOB.
Passenger Roastery & Coffee Bar
A bit snobby but delicious coffee.
Cafe One Eight
Good coffee and good food too.
Chestnut Hill Cafe
This is a block from our house so we are frequent flyers at this coffee shop. Nothing special but we love it. Get their Lucky Lox.
Southern Market Lancaster
Southern Market has a bar in the middle with a ton of different food options. It is open Wednesday to Sunday. Wednesday is a popular trivia night and you will definitely run into some of our friends there!
