Karla's best friend Makaila convinced (made the account) her to download Tinder to be apart of Tinder Social together to match with other groups of people. (Does anyone remember Tinder Social??) When they would get bored in-between classes/study breaks Makaila would get on Karla's tinder and swipe on everyone (What else would 18 year olds do in 2016?) When Tim and Karla matched, he messaged karla saying 'Hi Cutie.' Karla never messaged anyone back because it was supposed to be a joke she was going along with for her friend. SO Makaila texted Tim back (as Karla on Karlas tinder) with Karlas help. After a few days Makaila told Karla that Tim seemed nice but they now needed to make sure he was a REAL person. So Karla then started talking to Tim on her own and eventually asked for his snapchat, in which Tim said he never used it and instead asked for her number. Honestly Karla thought an 18 year old who didn't use snapchat was a red flag but she still gave her number. Soon after that Tim and Karla planned their first date. Tim cancelled day before saying his sister went through a bad break-up and he needed to be there for her. Karla thought Tim was the sweetest person ever... (later Karla found out there was no break up and that he was just too nervous.) Eventually Karla and Tim went out on their first date to Applebees and a movie after. Tim nor Karla remember what movie they saw that day. It took Tim 10 months before he asked Karla to be his official girlfriend. 8 years later they're saying I DO.
